Program Overview
Throughout the course of one academic year, high school students will build a high-performance Factory Five vehicle from the ground up. Using a project based curriculum created by WCP, our teaching artists will guide students through the process of creating a functioning racing organization over one school year. The program is focused on more than just the technical process of building a car, but what it takes to develop an entire racing team as a business.
WCP students will participate in activities and classes designed to introduce them to an array of fields including marketing, journalism, video production, and public relations—allowing the exploration of professional skills earlier in life. A thread of social-emotional development topics will also be included, and workshops will be incorporated to ensure that we address the needs of our students holistically. Through shared experiences, students will learn the connection between car building and race production; including the complex structure of professionals that work in a range of different careers to make an organization thrive.
Field trips, guest speakers, and opportunities to shadow professionals in their fields of interest give our students immersive experiences in real-world settings . Additionally, internship opportunities as well as a continued professional career pathway through Alfred State College’s Motorsports Program are available to our alumni.
Volunteer your time, resources, services, or location to the coolest STEAM program ever. It is thanks to people like you that we can continue to grow!

FAQs
How does my school get to join the Winners Circle Project?
Send us a video presentation on why you want this at your school. We will set up a visit and meet with your administrators.
Is this only about building a car?
NO! That’s only half of the project. The other half is marketing, visual communications and Self management classes. We pride ourselves on building an entire student. We have enrichment activities, workshops and field trips that focus on self discovery and give students opportunities to network with real professionals.
